Titanic Last Lunch Menu Sells for $88000

Titanic’s last first-class lunch menu has sold for a whopping $880000 on September 30th, in an online auction. The menu sold higher than expected, the maximum price at the auction house was $70,000. The lunch menu was recovered by one of its first class passengers,  Abraham Lincoln Salomon.


The first class menu is divided into four parts – Luncheon, From the Grill, Buffet and Cheese. There is also an Ice Draught Munich Lager Beer. The menu is signed on the back by another passenger named Issac Gerald Frauenthal, in pencil.

The item was auctioned by the New York Auction House, the collectible received from an unidentified person who said that he was a descendant of the said first-class passenger.  The menu was bought by a private collector.
